On April 21st, 9-year-old boy, Codi Walker, was pinned between two vehicles when his family’s van was hit in a rear end collision. Walker was grabbing toys out of the trunk of the vehicle that was legally parked along North Broadway near Hickey Park and was hit by a 2018 Nissan Titan. The driver, 50-year-old Kevin Johnson, fled the scene of the crash and later turned himself in. Walker was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition.
