Michelle Yaeger and her two daughters were killed in a crash on I-270 near I-55 on the morning of May 24th. A truck driver pulled over on the I-55 ramp to inspect his cargo and Yaeger’s SUV struck the back of the semi. The SUV caught fire and Yaeger and her 7-year-old daughter were pronounced dead at the scene and the 10-year-old was rushed to the hospital but died of her injuries.
