$1 Million Settlement
Trucking AccidentsJosh represented a severely injured woman and helped her receive a $1 million settlement for her injuries in a trucking accident. The plaintiff had no visible injuries, but as the use of her arm deteriorated, she was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Margolis fought against the trucking company’s defense claiming that she had been speeding and found them liable for failing to properly vet their trucker drivers. The case settled shortly before trial after four years of litigation. Despite the insurance company’s initial position that it would not pay a substantial amount of money to settle the case, it ultimately offered the full one million dollar policy limit of the trucking company insurance policy.
